Creating a Child Record
A Child record represents the parameter values on the product, for example in an associate product they could refer to colour or size.
To Create a Child Record click the 
button next to the Associate parameter you created to expand the product.
Click the “Add new parameter value” link
Creating a Child Record
Value: Put the values that are associated with that parameter. i.e. first parameter is colour so each child record would be the available colours such as red, green , blue, avocado
Description: For own use – not seen by user at this time
Image: You can upload an image displaying each colour.
To save click on the 
icon - to edit after click on the 
icon
Once you have created all the Child records for your Associate product you are ready to set pricing for all the variations of the associate product. Please note that pricing must be set for users to view the product.
